This page provides a variety of helpful resources for school and district administrators around SES implementation and policies.
Tools for the Implementation of SES
CDE with the collaboration of the California Title I SES Work Group members from across the state have developed tools for optional use in the implementation of effective and efficient SES for the eligible students. Each folder listed below includes the following: 1) the actual product or tool that can be personalized and improved by the local educational agency (LEA), 2) an information cover file about the product, its uses, relevant legal citations, and a list of those LEA representatives who were involved in the development of the tool, and 3) a brief tutorial slide show and written narration to use with stakeholders as an introduction to the product.

- The California Reading List (CRL) Web page provides a searchable, online database for use by parents and students in selecting books written at a level of difficulty that corresponds with a child's ability to read based on assessment score.

- The Program Resources: Supplemental Information for the STAR Program Web page provides resources, including blueprints of standards for each state standards-based assessment.
- The DataQuest Web site and provides options to create school and district reports on adequate yearly progress (AYP), Academic Performance Index (API), enrollment, graduates, dropouts, course enrollments, staffing, English learners, state assessment data disaggregated at the school level, and similar school rankings.
